A European manufacture of gypsum blocks was looking for an energy-efficient way to optimize the drying process at one of its sites.

By combining the customer's expertise in gypsum processes with our expertise in thermal processes, we were able to upgrade existing installations to state-of-the-art status. We tested the results by comparing the upgraded performance of the unit with the performance of a new machine: they were the same. Thanks to the Process Advice, our customer saw its specific energy consumption drop by 20% while increasing its throughput by 12%. In addition to this, the upgrade led to a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions."
