Through eni’s diversified portfolio of supply contracts and the loading facilities at the Zeebrugge LNG-terminal our clients can benefit from a direct supply of LNG through trucks or small gas tankers. With this particular sales channel we offer our clients the possibility to transport LNG to their facilities for storage, transfer or regasification. Today this method is commonly used in the transportation sector. Besides, this service provides the possibility to supply natural gas to facilities that are not connected to a natural gas network or to facilities that require a capacity which the local network cannot deliver. The use of LNG as alternative “clean” fuel for road transportation and shipping can significantly contribute to the compliance with continuously stricter emission norms.
